I've used the MX keyboard and mouse with the usb receiver for years and like most people have encountered the stuttering and lags due to an issue with the 2.4ghz receiver and being close to other connections. I fixed that by putting it on a extension cable so it was farther away from everything and it seemed to help.

For example, the "for mac version" is the same mouse without the receiver, and costs the same as the version with the receiver.
