Always happy to see a national wildlife refuge. Since it's the middle of summer, wildlife is quiet, but we did see quite a few water birds and it was a pretty drive thru the refuge.Full review by NF2013_13

Saw lots of ducks, one hawk and one heron. Not much else to see. Visitor center was closed. Very easy to get to.Full review by TCarr716

How much for admission and can i take a mountain bike?
A:
No admission. Yes, you can take your bike. My husband & I sometimes ride our bikes on the dirt/gravel road that loops through the refuge.
