We ate at Indian Fields Tavern in Charles City. The food was good and the atmosphere is fun, as it is set in rustic farmhouse, that has been renovated.
Q:
Are they open for tours on the 4th of July?
A:

Q:
How long should I plan for touring the plantation?
A:
I think we were there for a couple of hours. We went on the main tour and then wandered the grounds a little bit. You could spend a lot longer on the grounds if you wanted to.
Q:
Are dogs allowed on the plantation
A:
suggest u call them directly
Q:
If you just want to come take pictures of the outside of building do you have to pay to get in?
A:
I don't believe you need to worry about fees as they are for tours of the house.
