Hi, i'm planning a small destination wedding in Placerville next September. My family and I have never been in this area and I was thinking about spending an afternoon exploring downtown Telluride (Main Street area) with the family before they fly back to our home state. Where would be a nice place to have a farewell brunch? I would also like to take everyone for a ride on the gondolas before we leave the city. Are those nearby Main street? Any and all suggestions for things to see/do in the town of Telluride or Placerville is welcome!

Having made the trip once, but planning to return, I am not an authority on Telluride. That said I'll tell you a little about my personal experience there. And yes, you will find many various locations able to accommodate a farewell brunch. From the New Sheridan Hotel, Chop House restaurant, with a high-end steak house in a sophisticated atmosphere, to the Floradora Saloon, with American eats in a laid back hang out, with a full bar, to Steamies Burger Bar, in a mall like location with a nearby dispensary and public restrooms, I can personally speak to the facilities each might offer. There are many other places with varying food, atmosphere, and attitudes you can explore to fit your needs. And yes, the Gondola is close and easily accessed. BE AWARE...at altitude those, like me, who are not accustomed, may experience shortness of breath going up the steeper parts of town, like me! You can certainly find one of many locales to fit your needs.
Planning a trip to Frazer area in September. Are there any concerts, etc in Frazer or Telluride area during this time? Is it a good time to visit?

Our trip to Telluride in Sep 2018 was wonderful. We went to the Saturday night Juke Joint concerts then overnighted in the car. The Blues and Brews Festival was ongoing but we found access and travel, both into town by car and around town on foot, to be easy, arriving into town early Saturday morning. We are planning to attempt to get a one day ticket again but if unsuccessful just doing the late show with the Juke Joint ticket which remained available until showtime last year (2018). I can highly recommend you try to attend during the festival but many exciting things are always on tap in the Telluride/Durango area in the Fall.
