We're Salida's local rafting connection on the Arkansas River. Our trips range from scenic family floats to thrilling whitewater trips. We're proud to offer two additional rapids on our Brown's Canyon trips (due to our private takeout) so you can experience more of beautiful Brown's Canyon National Monument. We also offer advanced trips on the Numbers and Royal Gorge, gear rentals, and as shuttle service to move your car to/from any spot on the Arkansas. Come hungry! Our food truck, The Drift In Bar & Grill serves delicious food & drinks right on the river.

My understanding from reading news reports,they are rafting what would normally be less challenging stretches.Best bet,call the guides at Independent Whitewater! Attire: swimsuit or shirt and shorts.not cotton.Unless it's really hot,it's best to wear a wet suit,provided by company. Have fun!
