AppLovin CEO Adam Foroughi called the company's late-stage bid to acquire TikTok a "much stronger bid than others" on CNBC's The Exchange.

Marketing platform AppLovin said on Thursday it has submitted a bid for TikTok assets outside of China, ahead of the April 5 deadline set by the U.S. President Donald Trump to find a non-Chinese buyer for the short video app used by 170 million Americans.

As TikTok faces another potential ban in the U.S. if not sold to an American buyer, Amazon has expressed interest as have several other companies.
