The Liberal Democrats will sing “B------s to Brexit” at their annual party conference in a sweary version of a Mary Poppins song. Activists have rewritten Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious from the 1964 Disney film as “B------s bloody bugger knackers f------ c---- to Brexit”.

To the frustration of some Lib Dem Europhiles, a gradualist approach to rebuilding ties with the EU is favoured by party leader Sir Ed Davey.
