Riverton • Three members of the Unified Fire Authority were injured while responding to a house fire in Riverton on Saturday afternoon. Fortunately, their injuries were minor. UFA crews were dispatched around 12:53 p.m. to 1230 West 13200 South, where a garage fire was sparked by a car, according to UFA public information officer Benjamin Porter.

Officials did not immediately provide more details about how many people were injured or what may have caused the fire.

A firefighter was taken to the hospital on Friday during a house fire that required the manpower of eight Kentucky agencies to put out.
