A woman who was wanted in connection to a hit-and-run that killed a 12-year-old boy​ has turned herself in nearly two weeks later.

Apollo Rogers was walking home from school when a driver ran a red light and hit him. The accused driver turned herself in to Fort Worth police almost two weeks after the incident.

FORT WORTH, Texas — A woman was arrested more than a week after she allegedly hit and killed a 12-year-old boy in a crash in Fort Worth, according to police. Precious Crosby, 33, was booked into the Tarrant County Jail Monday on a collision involving death charge, jail records show. Crosby’s bond amount was listed at $200,000, jail records show.

A woman police say hit a 12-year-old boy and continued driving in Fort Worth was arrested after the preteen died.

The victim, 13-year-old Apollo Rogers, was crossing the street with his sister following an after-school program when he was hit.
