Apple Maps and Bing Maps are both joining Google by changing their Maps software and apps to now display Gulf of America on the body of water that's been known as the Gulf of Mexico since the 16th century.

The Gulf of Mexico is still, for the vast majority of the world’s people, the Gulf of Mexico. But on Monday, Google Maps changed its label for the sea to “Gulf of America” for United States users, acquiescing to the whim of President Donald Trump.

The Gulf of Mexico will now appear as the Gulf of America for users of both Apple (AAPL) Maps and Google (GOOGL) Maps in the U.S., following an executive order from the Trump administration to rename the body of water.
