Gregg Wallace, co-host of the wildly popular BBC show MasterChef, has apologized on social media for his response to the misconduct allegations that have been leveled against him. "I want to apologise for any offence that I caused with my post yesterday and any upset I may have caused to a lot of people.

Gregg Wallace, the presenter for the U.K. version of "MasterChef" who is currently under investigation, apologized for disparaging comments he made about his accusers. Wallace has been accused by 13 different people of making inappropriate sexual comments to co-workers over a 17-year period.

Television presenter Aggie MacKenzie, who competed on “Celebrity MasterChef” in 2011, told ITV on Monday that Wallace made “endless smutty jokes” and alleged that “he’s been allowed to carry on in his own sweet way for many, many years.”
