Rovers eased past Grimsby Town a Saturday lunch-time kick off with a 3-0 win. Jordan Gibson scored twice as Doncaster headed into half-time 3-0 to the good. The Mariners had no hope of getting back into it when Harvey Rodgers was sent off seconds before half-time.

Grimsby Town’s mini-win streak came to an end with a humbling 3-0 home defeat to rivals Doncaster Rovers. The visitors scored two inside the first ten minutes to kill the atmosphere inside Blundell Park straight away before a third was added just before the break, with Harvey Rodgers getting sent off in the process.
