Former Tennessee Vols assistant coach Brian Niedermeyer landed a new job in football this week. According to USA Today's Dan Harralson, Niedermeyer was named as the new head coach at Tuscaloosa County High School this week.

Brian Niedermeyer has been named as the 26th head football coach at Tuscaloosa County High School, the school announced on Tuesday. Niedermeyer previously served as defensive coordinator on former Tuscaloosa County head coach Miles Holcomb's staff during the 2024 season. Holcomb resigned in November after one year with the program.
