BrightRidge gave an update on its efforts to restore power to customers surrounding the flood-torn Nolichucky River on Tuesday. A release from the electric company said crews were working to finish a river crossing at the Bailey Bridge in the South Central area.

BrightRidge issued an update on Wednesday about remaining outages and the work the company has already completed to restore hundreds of customers’ electricity. After “a truly epic week,” BrightRidge reported in a news release that 200 total outages remain in its system,

BrightRidge restored all remaining outages north of the Nolichucky by Thursday morning, down from 33,458 outages at the height of storm Helene.
