An Ohio sheriff has deleted a social media post in which he said people with Kamala Harris yard signs should have their addresses written down so that immigrants can be sent to live with them.

The sheriff made national headlines when he used insulting language toward the Democratic presidential candidate in a Sept. 13 post.

The decision came a week after the sheriff said in public Facebook posts that residents should “write down all the addresses of the people who had her signs in their yards.”

The board’s decision stemmed from a Sept. 13 Facebook post by Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski, who used insulting language while referring to Vice President Kamala Harris, McClatchy News reported.
