On Thursday at 1 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 7 a.m. for Mercer County.
Rain chances continue into Friday and Saturday morning. While not every day will be a washout, the likelihood of heavier rain will go up by the end of the week. Rain totals could range from 2 to 5 inches in some locations once this is all said and done.
