Rafael weakened into a tropical storm overnight, with sustained winds of 65 mph and a westerly path away from Florida and is expected to continue to steadily weaken over the next few days, according to the latest update from the National Hurricane Center.

MIAMI - The lower and middle Florida Keys are under a tropical storm warning as Hurricane Rafael is forecast to grow steadily on a path for Cuba, where it's expected to arrive on Wednesday. A tropical storm warning is also issued for portions of Cuba. A hurricane warning is in effect for parts of Cuba.

While seeing a storm track in November is alarming, the risks of damaging wind or surge on the remain quite low and enhanced rain chances should be Rafael's only impact on Florida.
