Dickies clothing brand is moving from Texas to California, marking a rare corporate switch after several companies relocated from California to the southern state. The Los Angeles Times reported that the company will be moving from Fort Worth to Costa Mesa to share a space with its sister brand Vans.

The move represents a real estate consolidation by VF Corp., which owns Dickies and Vans as well as outdoorsy brands the North Face, Timberland and JanSport.

Dickies, a clothing brand long synonymous with Texas, is packing up its headquarters and moving to California, marking a major shift for the iconic Texas-based company that has been in the Lone Star State for more than a century.
