Christopher Huyler of Littleton, NH was returning from an area in the White Mountains' Coppermine Trail last Friday when he was reported missing.

The body of a missing hiker was recovered over the weekend in New Hampshire's White Mountains, according to authorities, who said the man died after "a significant fall in icy terrain."

Christopher Huyler’s body was found around 1 a.m. at approximately 2,800 feet in elevation, near a steep, icy slide in the Coppermine Brook valley, officials said.
