Celtic  took on Chelsea  at Celtic park last night in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, in front of a decent crowd of 7390 but despite their best efforts they lost out by two goals to one to the English Champion.

Chelsea Women’s opponents today, Celtic, failed to score a single goal against our two other group stage contenders in Real Madrid and Twente. But the Blues’ win against these teams wasn’t that convincing on the defensive side, highlighting an issue that previous manager Emma Hayes couldn’t solve during her heydays at helm.
