Reservations for hiking the iconic Hanging Lake trail in Glenwood Canyon will become available on Monday, March 17, for trips beginning in July.

Summer reservations will become available soon for hikers to visit beloved Hanging Lake after the trail to the lake was improved last year.

The steep, rocky trail to the blue-green water of Hanging Lake isn’t expected to open until July 1, but the reservation system for required permits will open at 8 a.m. on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17.
