The Silver Slugger Award winners get announced on Tuesday night and Astros slugger Jose Altuve is looking to solidify himself among the all-time greats at second base.

Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve and Los Angeles Dodgers utilityman Mookie Betts led the field of Silver Slugger honorees by picking up the award for the seventh time in their careers on Tuesday.

Altuve’s seven Silver Sluggers are tied with former Chicago Cubs star Ryne Sandberg for the most by a second baseman in MLB history. Altuve sits No. 2 on the all-time postseason home runs list (trailing only Manny Ramirez), and he’s just one of three second basemen this century to win an MVP award (joining Dustin Pedroia and Jeff Kent).

With Jose Altuve, Yordan Alvarez, Alex Bregman and Yanier Diaz as nominees, the Astros are tied with the Yankees for the most of any American League teams.
