The Gemini app offers a whole bunch of useful things, but it’s lacking one thing: Video analysis based on uploads from your PC or phone. That might be about to change, though, as looking into the APK code reveals that Google is working on a video upload feature.

If you use the Gemini app on Android, the file picker (+ icon) in the text field gives you a few options, including the ability to take a picture, attach an image from your Gallery or upload PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, etc., using the default file explorer or Google Drive. In all of these options, the ability to attach a video is missing.

Google's infusion of its Gemini AI across its services continues with Google Calendar. As someone who often relies on that calendar to ensure I get where I need to be on time, I was intrigued about the possibilities for Gemini in this context.

With Gemini now available in Workspace Business and Enterprise, Google Chat and Meet are picking up a slew of new features.
