Mizzou baseball went neck and neck with Florida A&M, winning 6-5 in its first game of the Andre Dawson Classic on Friday evening in Vero Beach, Florida. The Tigers (2-3) claimed an early 3-0 lead in the first inning thanks to an RBI bunt single from junior designated hitter Gehrig Goldbeck and a two-run single up the middle by junior third baseman Jackson Lovich.

The UCF Knights took a lead in the opening inning and never looked back Thursday night, defeating Mizzou Baseball 7-1 in Orlando. Wil Libbert struggled in his first collegiate start, putting the Tigers behind early in a deficit the offense was never able to overcome.
