The recall was originally announced Sept. 6 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and was upgraded Sept. 30 to Class I, a product that "will cause serious adverse health consequences or death.

The risk level for eggs from Milo's Poultry Farms, Tony's Fresh Market, and Happy Quackers Farm has now been upgraded to Class 1 by the FDA.

The FDA has updated a major recall involving eggs from those two brands and now "Happy Quackers Farm," categorizing it as a "Class I" recall — the most severe type.

Pet owners are advised to throw away the at-risk products safely, so pets and children can't access and ingest them

The egg recall issued in early September 2024 has now been upgraded to the highest Class One recall status, due to the risk of salmonella infection.

Steer clear of these recently recalled eggs, which have been connected to a salmonella outbreak that's currently being investigated by the FDA.
