Mike Macdonald quiet on impending roster moves for Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald has roster decisions to make ahead of Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts, but he wasn't willing to share any of them on Friday.
The Seahawks' success has come from a multitude of avenues, but quarterback Sam Darnold and wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba have been two of the biggest reasons why. Both were listed as potential MVP candidates by ESPN contributor Bill Barnwell.
The Seattle Seahawks shook off a sluggish first half to dominate the Atlanta Falcons 37-9 in Week 14 of the NFL season. Seattle scored 31 of their 37 points over the final two quarters to take control of a game they struggled in during the first half.
The Jalen Sundell or Olu Oluwatimi debate raged all offseason and is back again with potential cap consequences with Sundell eligible to come off IR.
The Seahawks’ last loss came at SoFi Stadium to the Rams, 21-19, in Week 11. Darnold was picked off four times. Since then, Macdonald’s squad owns a three-game winning streak, besting the Titans, Vikings, and Falcons, 93-33. All told, there’s a reason the ‘Hawks’ plus-161 scoring differential is the best in the league.
