SHARON, Mass. (WPRI) — A Sharon High School student is recovering after suffering a traumatic brain injury during the school’s annual Thanksgiving football game. School officials said 15-year-old Rohan Shukla was injured during a play and then collapsed on the sidelines.

Rohan Shukla sustained a “traumatic brain injury” during the game and was sent to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton and then to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, according to a Sharon Police Department Facebook post. The game ended as his trainer, coaches and emergency personnel responded to the incident.
