Defeating the New York Knicks for the third straight time this season, the Boston Celtics were led by the usual suspects Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, but on Sunday it was Derrick White being praised.

TORONTO — Jaylen Brown scored 24 points, Derrick White had 22 and the Boston Celtics extended their winning streak to six games by beating the Toronto Raptors 111-101 on Tuesday night. Payton Pritchard scored 20 points and Jayson Tatum had 19 points and 11 assists as the Celtics improved to 24-6 on the road.

The short-handed Celtics still had plenty of firepower to beat the Raptors on Tuesday, claiming a 111-101 victory.

Derrick White said he has been playing with more joy lately, and it showed during the 4th quarter against the Knicks.
