The United States government on Friday announced they have designated Marc Fogel as "wrongfully detained" in Russia.
The U.S. State Department said Friday that Marc Fogel, a Butler native, Allegheny County resident and Indiana University of Pennsylvania alumnus, was determined to be "wrongfully detained" by Russia -- in October, around the time its attorneys sought to dismiss a suit filed by Fogel's mother.
