The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating after a United Airlines flight and a Delta Airlines flight had a near-collision over Phoenix on Saturday.
A United Airlines flight bound for Puerto Rico made an emergency landing at Newark Liberty International Airport on Saturday morning, according to the FAA. The flight returned to Newark around 10 a.m.
Six people were taken to hospital with injuries but have been discharged, United Airlines said.
