The Senate Thursday confirmed Brooke Rollins to be the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture. The vote, 72-28, fell largely along party lines, although some Democrats who initially supported her, voted against her.

The Senate voted 72-28 to confirm her nomination. She easily sailed through the Senate Agriculture Committee earlier this month on a unanimous vote.

In a rare show of bipartisan support for a Trump cabinet nominee, Ms. Rollins sailed through the confirmation process and will now lead the agency responsible for securing the nation’s food supply.
