A new U.S. Department of Transportation rule that went into effect last month says if your flight is delayed by more than three hours for domestic trips, or more than six hours for international trips, you’re automatically entitled to a refund if you choose not to travel on the delayed flight, USA Today reported.

CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, Charlotte Douglas International Airport workers are on strike over what they call ‘poverty wages’ and ‘unfair labor practices’ as of 5 a.m. on Monday, November 25.

Service workers at Charlotte Douglass International Airport walked the picket lines Monday, going on strike to fight what they say are unlivable wages. Now back working a day later, Charlotte airport worker Laura Kelly says she believes their message was heard and hopes their demands will soon be met.
