Otega Oweh made a baseline jumper with 0.5 seconds left after No. 15 Kentucky had blown a late lead in the final minutes and the Wildcats beat Oklahoma 85-84 on Thursday night to advance to the Southeastern Conference Tournament quarterfinals.

In total, Oweh scored a team-high 27 points and went 8-for-14 from the field. Koby Brea scored 22 for Kentucky. Carr added 11 points and seven rebounds. The Wildcats advance to play Alabama on Friday evening. Oweh's game-winner got a fierce reaction from a Kentucky-friendly crowd at Bridgestone Arena. Carr's reaction was a bit more subdued.
