Diljit Dosanjh's Pune concert faced a last-minute setback. The state excise department revoked the permit for serving liquor at the event. This followed protests from political parties and local groups.

On Sunday, the Maharashtra excise department withdrew the license to serve alcohol at actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh's Dil-Luminati concert, set to take place that evening in Pune's Kothrud area.

The protesting residents also raised concerns over sound pollution due to installation of a large number of loudspeakers for the concert.
