Storms with potential high winds, thunder, hail and an isolated tornado risk are heading our way Friday as the morning fog moves out. We have issued a NEXT Weather Alert for these storms and will keep you updated as they move across the region.

Forecasters say clusters of strong thunderstorm cells may develop late Friday morning and early Friday afternoon as a warm front moves across our region.

The strong tornado threat Thursday includes Chicago, Milwaukee and a big chunk of central Wisconsin. Evansville, Indiana, is at the heart of Friday’s tornado threat.
