Facsimile 1. The Lord Saved Abraham. Invite students to study facsimile 1, including the explanations for the twelve figures. Assign them to find verses in chapters 1–3 of Abraham that they can relate to one or more of the twelve explanations. Invite a student to share in his or her own words the story of what is portrayed in facsimile 1.

1. Remember That He’s Not Hiding. Yes, you have to look for Him. But He wants to be found! It’s not a game of hide-and-seek. The Lord is eager to bless you—in fact, it delights Him (see Doctrine and Covenants 41:1). He isn’t looking for reasons to disqualify you. Quite the opposite: He is always seeking to bless you.
