Oct 19, 2017 · I haven't seen the composite seats, but I believe Lund has traditionally used Medium Density Overlay (MDO) plywood for their seats. They used to call it "PermaPly" I think. MDO is nice stuff. Even though it looks like plywood with paper faces on both sides, it's quite water resistant and lasts pretty well outside.

Apr 24, 2020 · Other seats have an access point on the outside of the arms that allow the attachment point to be removed from the chair from the outside edge of the arms. I agree with the removal of the arms. In a non captains position, at times a seat with arms are nice - especially on a long slow day.

Mar 18, 2014 · I just picked up the boat yesterday so I will try to answer the questions best I can. The Pilot seats come with slider, adjustable air ride for height, the arms fold, and the back reclines. From what I can see, there is not a way to fold flat. The seat will rotate if you use the slide to adjust the seat position.
